Telescopic Beam Tubes: Unsprung Bellows
Overview
The un-sprung telescopic bellows tube provides a sealed, adjustable enclosure for free-space laser beams without an internal support spring. It expands and contracts to match changing component spacing while keeping debris, smoke, and dust out of the optical path. This version is suited to continuous, low-speed motion when the tube is mounted vertically or carried by an external guide (e.g., a linear stage or cable track).
Choose the un-sprung design when your axis is already supported and you want a lighter, simpler assembly for tasks like motorized Z-axis focus changes or steady travel between optics. For long, unsupported horizontal spans, use the spring-supported model. The un-sprung bellows integrates with Haas LTI couplers and mounts and is available in multiple apertures and length ranges to fit a variety of system layouts.
